Biography
Todd E. Davies is Corporate Secretary and Associate General Counsel, Deere & Company, a position he has held since July 2014. He is responsible for corporate governance matters, working closely with the Chairman and the Board of Directors. He also manages legal and regulatory aspects of Deere's financial transactions, including its filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Davies joined the John Deere Credit legal group in 1990 after working for Dean Witter. In 1997, he transferred to the Corporate Legal Department. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in corporate finance & securities, product litigation, and mergers & acquisitions. Immediately prior to his current position, Davies was Associate General Counsel, Commercial Law & Compliance. Davies is a graduate of the University of Illinois and the IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law.
