Shyam S Bhartia

Biography

Shyam is the Chairman of Jubilant Life Sciences Limited and Jubilant FoodWorks Limited. He is also Chairman and Managing Director of Jubilant Pharma Limited, Singapore (a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of Jubilant Life Sciences Limited).He holds a bachelors’ degree in commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta University, and is a qualified cost and works accountant & a fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). Shyam has been associated with various institutions and has served as Member of Board of Governors, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. He has also served as a Member of the Executive Committee of Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) & Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and was also a member of Task Force on Chemicals appointed by the Government of India. Shyam is a regular participant at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos. He is also a member of the Chemistry &Advanced Materials Governors of the World Economic Forum.
