Daniel Hua

Biography

 Daniel Hua is Senior Vice President and General Manager, APAC . In this capacity, Hua is responsible for all aspects of sales and operations across the region, including customer engagement, sales development, training and enablement, strategic planning and revenue growth. Prior to this, he was SVP and GM of the company's Routing Business Unit where he led the creation, implementation and operational execution of the hardware and software strategy for routing and optical transport products and solutions.Prior to joining Juniper in 2010, Hua relocated from Shanghai, PRC where he was the Executive Vice President of the Carrier Product Group for Alcatel-Lucent in China, and the Vice President of Alcatel's IP Division in Asia Pacific. In this role, he had overall responsibility for the sales and business development of the company's IP products and solutions in the APAC region. Hua joined Alcatel in June 2003 through the acquisition of TiMetra, where he was Vice President for Asia Pacific Region. Prior to TiMetra, he held management positions at Procket, Cisco, Newbridge, IBM and Mitsubishi Corporation.Hua is a graduate of Shanghai Jiaotong University in China and holds a doctorate in engineering from Yokohama National University in Japan.
