Biography
Pradeep Sindhu founded Juniper Networks in February 1996, and has held several central roles in shaping the company. He currently serves as Chief Scientist and served as Chief Technology Officer for over 20 years and as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for eight months when he founded the company. During that time, he played a central role in the architecture, design, and development of the M40 router. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, as well as a master’s degree in the same discipline from the University of Hawaii. In addition, Dr. Sindhu holds both a master’s and a doctorate degree in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University.
