Biography
Rakesh Dubey is Senior Vice President of Engineering and leads Juniper’s security and switching products teams. In this role, Rakesh is responsible for all development related to the EX, QFX, Qfabric and SRX platforms. He is also responsible for Juniper’s Network Management platform and applications as well as Cloud Platform and Products.A seven-year veteran of Juniper, Rakesh has held several senior management roles in data center and campus switching teams. He joined Juniper in 2008 as Senior Director for data center products. Prior to that Rakesh worked at Cisco Systems for 12 years where he held several engineering roles in Catalyst 4000, Cisco Gigabit Switch Router and CRS-1 teams. He started his career as a Software Engineer at NeXT Computer and worked on the operating systems team.Rakesh holds a bachelor of technology degree in computer science and engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a master of science in computer science from Washington State University in Pullman. Additionally, he completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
