Randy P. Christenson

Biography

 Randy connected with engineering through former Minnesota Governor Elmer L. Andersen, who he worked for during college. In engineering, Randy found that he could work with a variety of people and get involved in diverse projects. The connection with clients is a core element of Randy’s work. When he meets with a client, he seeks to understand their goals and standards, by getting to know what’s important to them. Randy’s relationships with his clients tend to span many years. Having wanted ownership in a company to be part of his career path, Randy became a principal of KFI in 2008. Internally, the commercial mechanical and electrical groups in all of KFI’s offices report to him. Randy is involved in most projects that come through the commercial group; his strong task orientation and drive for results helps to keep projects moving forward.
