Biography
BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: Dr. Perry received her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed a masters of public health at the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health. She completed residency training in pediatrics at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, and a fellowship in neurodevelopmental disabilities at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. After completing her fellowship training, Dr. Perry held the position of associate medical director of the Office for Genetics and Children with Special Health Care Needs in the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for several years before returning to join the medical staff at Kennedy Krieger in 2009. RESEARCH SUMMARY: Dr. Perry’s clinical and research interests center around early identification, diagnosis, and intervention for young children with developmental disabilities. Dr. Perry is also interested in program and policy development in the disability field.
