Biography
BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: Dr. Trovato received a bachelor's of science degree from Salem College in 1990 and a medical degree degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1994. She completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Sinai Hospital-Johns Hopkins School of Medicine residency program in 1999, followed by a two-year pediatric rehabilitation fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Trovato joined the Johns Hopkins Hospital and Kennedy Krieger Institute faculty in 2001. Dr. Trovato is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, with a subspecialty certification in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Physiatrists, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology.
