Benjamin D. Larson

Biography

 Dr. Ben Larson is thrilled to join the Duluth community and the skilled staff of Kenwood Dental. After growing up regularly visiting northern Minnesota, he jumped at the opportunity to establish a career in the Northland. Originally from Rochester, MN, Dr. Larson obtained a Bachelor of Arts in biology in 2003 from Luther College before spending several years as a wilderness guide and science teacher. Called to the field of dentistry, he attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2015. He received selective training that provided him with a passion for comprehensive restorative and esthetic dentistry. He has since served as a general dentist in the Twin Cities and with a variety of volunteer mission opportunities at home and abroad. Dr. Larson obtains fulfillment in providing a high level of care to his patients, fostering happy and healthy smiles. He stays up-to-date with advances in dentistry through continuing education coursework. As he settles in to his new role in the Duluth community, Dr. Larson enjoys quality time on Duluth's many mountain biking and hiking trails. He also enjoys kitesurfing and waterskiing on Minnesota's pristine lakes, and, in the winter, skiing and playing hockey.
