Bill Emhiser

Biography

 As one of the founders of Kerafast and its unique business model, Bill has over 35 years’ experience in senior management positions with life science research tools companies. Most recently he co-founded and was President of Maine Manufacturing, LLC, global specialists in research products manufacturing taking it from 3 employees to over 200 in a 6-year period. Bill’s previous roles include CEO of London-based Whatman plc, President of the Life Sciences Division of Millipore Corporation, NA President of Proteome Systems, and President of Amicon. He earned his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.

Research Interest

As a serial entrepreneur with a long and successful career in the life science tools space, Bill is passionate about giving back to the research community and science in general. This has led to his dedicated work with Kerafast and support of its mission.
