Biography
Angela Smith is the Research Coordinator in Neuropsychology and Neuroscience Research where she is responsible for subject recruitment and screening, submission of IRB documentation, and data management for ongoing studies inTraumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Multiple Sclerosis (MS). One study, funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), examines the clinical utility and long-term efficacy of a memory retraining protocol to improve new learning and memory in individuals with TBI who have documented memory impairment. P
Research Interest
Her research background includes the Army Research Institute for Environmental Medicine in Natick, MA and the Sport Laboratory for People with Disabilities at the University of Connecticut. She currently is the race director for the Kessler Foundation Wheelchair 10K and the coordinator of the WheelBlazer Grand Prix wheelchair racing series.
