Biography
Mooyeon Oh-Park, MD, MS, is a research scientist in Stroke Rehabilitation at Kessler Foundation, and research professor and Vice Chair of Education at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She is also a faculty physiatrist at the West Orange and Saddle Brook Campuses of Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation.
Research Interest
Her academic interest is mobility in patients with chronic conditions (e.g. stroke) and in the aging population and dissemination of interventions in the community. Her clinical expertise includes clinical electrophysiology, neuromuscular imaging, and mobility assessment. Her research work focuses on defining norms of mobility measures, interrelationship between performance based versus patient reported outcome measures in mobility, untangling the constructs of mobility in the physical, emotional, and cognitive domains.
