Biography
Barry Reed began his career as a civil/structural engineer at Petro-Marine Engineering in 1980. Since that time, he has developed a profound presence in upstream oil and gas, downstream petrochemical refining and chemical manufacturing. Since joining Keystone in 2007 as Chief Operating Officer, Barry has developed the company from a staff of 40 employees to over 350. His strong relationships with professionals throughout multiple industries form a network of resources for Keystone. Barry's technical design expertise sets the foundation for Keystone's outstanding Civil/Structural department. While effectively managing resources Barry is able to maintain technical control of design efforts. His vast array of project experience spans from design engineering of marine structures to project management of capital design/construction groups in the refining and petrochemical industry. While serving as Chief Operating Office, Barry provided corporate guidance for all company decisions, as well as management support for the Metairie office. In his new role as Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for overall company management as well as driving growth and sustainability.
