George J. Pierson

Biography

Mr. George J. Pierson has been Chief Executive Officer and President of The Kleinfelder Group, Inc. since September 6, 2016. Mr. Pierson serves as the President of The Pierson Advisory Group. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Professional Services at Balfour Beatty Plc. He served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Parsons Brinckerhoff, Inc. Mr. Pierson served as Chief Executive Officer of Parsons Brinckerhoff Group Inc. (now known as WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, Inc.) since January 1, 2010 and served as its President, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel. He served as a General Counsel of Parsons Brinckerhoff Inc. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Americas division at Parsons Brinckerhoff Group Inc. since January 2008. A licensed engineer and lawyer, Mr. Pierson joined Parsons Brinckerhoff in February 2006 as General Counsel and Secretary. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he had a distinguished career as a construction lawyer. He is a qualified lawyer and engineer. Mr. Pierson has a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, an MBA with Honors from St. Mary’s College of California, an M.S. in civil engineering from the University of California at Berkeley where he studied on a Graduate Fellowship and a B.S. summa cum laude in civil engineering from Bucknell University.
