Christian Fischer

Biography

 Mr. Christian Fischer has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Georgia-Pacific LLC at Koch Industries, Inc., since March 2017. Mr. Fischer served as an Executive Vice President of Packaging Segment for Georgia-Pacific LLC since 2007 until March 2017. He served as Group President of Packaging at Georgia Pacific Corp., from 2006 to 2007. He served as Senior Vice President of Packaging Sales and Logistics/Senior Vice President of Packaging Operations and Sales at Georgia Pacific Corp., from 2003 to 2006 and served as its Senior Director of Containerboard Sales from 1999 to 2003, Director of Market Pulp Sales from 1997 to 1999, Director of Market Pulp Sales for North and South America from 1996 to 1997, Manager of Market Pulp Sales for South America from 1992 to 1996, Sales Manager of Market Pulp Sales for Europe from 1989 to 1992. He served as General Manager of Riocell Trade GmbH for Germany (various positions) from 1984 to 1989, Foreign Language Instructor for CCAA, Brazil from 1982 to 1984. He serves as Board of Directors at Fibre Box Association, International Corrugated Case Association and Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Fischer studied Literature & Culture at University of Hamburg.
