Biography
Dr. Charles Wm. Stewart, OD, is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Konan Medical USA, Inc. Dr. Stewart has 20 + years of global ophthalmic products and 35 + years of ophthalmic industry management experience. He was the President of Cygnus E Transaction Group Inc. until November 2007 and also served as its Chief Revenue Officer. Dr. Stewart joined Cygnus in 2001, with over 24 years of management experience in the capital equipment, medical, and service industries. He served as an Executive Vice President of LaserSight Technologies. Prior to LaserSight Technologies, Dr. Stewart served as President of Clearvision International, based out of Hong Kong and Shenzhen, P.R. China that developed, managed, and operated laser refractive surgery centers. He is a Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Stewart completed his Doctorate in 1978 from Southern California.
