Nicole Greenwood

Biography

Nicole E. Greenwood, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at LECOM College of Medicine and also serves as the Director of Community Outreach, and faculty adviser of both Pediatric and Women’s Health medical student clubs. Dr. Greenwood completed her undergraduate education with honors at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. She attended medical school at SABA University School of Medicine in the Caribbean Netherlands. Dr. Greenwood completed her residency in Pediatrics at Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center, where she also fulfilled the role of Junior Chief Resident during her three-year residency. To pursue her interest in Adolescent Medicine, Dr. Greenwood attended Nicklaus Children’s Hospital (formerly Miami Children’s Hospital) for additional fellowship training in this field. There, she played an active role in teaching both medical students and residents about Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She later relocated to Rhode Island, where she worked as a General Pediatrician and was an Assistant Professor at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where she taught both resident and medical students in addition to fulfilling her clinical roles. Dr. Greenwood joined the Basic Science Medical Faculty at LECOM in November 2016, where she continues her passion for teaching and Pediatrics.
