Biography
Ram Karuppusamy assumed the position of the Chairman and CEO in November 2002 and instituted a clear vision that guided LanceSoft to become a rapidly growing firm. He is also the Chief Architect and CEO of Acretix Inc - a business operations software platform for small/midsize and large scale enterprises in the Contingent Workforce Management arena to have ONLY ONE system to manage their daily operations. He instills trust, sets strategy, provides direction, and demands excellence in execution. He is an avid reader, intense athlete, outdoor enthusiast and an active participant in various charities and philanthropic activities. Off recent, he has gotten into mountain climbing and has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Jan 2011 and Mt. Aconcagua in Dec 2011 (2 of the 7 summits). He is also a member of the US Capital YPO and a chapter board member at Pratham DC, a non-profit organization catering to help the kids in need of education. Ram was elected to the board of The Indus Entrepreneur TiE DC in Dec 2012 and will serve as the board member for the chapter for 2013. TiE is a networking organization made up of C-level executives across the DC metro region, dedicated to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, and education.
