Bill Leimkuehler

Biography

 William J. Leimkuehler graduated cum laude from St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio, in 1973.After William graduated from Ohio University, he started working at Pel Central Fabrication. Pel Central Fab was a prosthetic-orthotic laboratory that would fabricate, assemble and finish custom artificial limbs and braces for outside companies. The three years that he worked at Pel Central Fab formed the foundation of his expertise in fabrication. In 1980, William attended the prosthetic/orthotic program at UCLA Medical Center. This program was devoted to the patient care aspect of prosthetics and orthotics, prescription criteria, medical terminology, gait analysis, casting and alignment procedures as well as the actual fitting of patients.
