Biography
John sustained multiple lumbar compression fractures, which eventually led to a spinal fusion. It was very clear at this time it would take multiple health professionals, such as a physical therapist and an orthotist, to provide spinal bracing. The orthotist that worked with John so impressed him, it became a clear choice of profession after high school graduation.The orthotic and prosthetic field and working for Bill Leimkuehler has really been a blessing. He was able to meet his wife of over 20 years, through my employment. Gayle Fabian, formerly employed as a physical therapist at Firelands Hospital, is currently working as a physical therapist at the Visiting Nurse Association.
