Biography
Mr. Harmit J. Singh has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Levi Strauss & Co. since January 16, 2013. Mr. Singh serves as an Advisor of Aspire Human Capital Management Private Limited. He has been associated with Aspire Human Capital Management Private Limited since 1994. He served as an Executive Vice President of Hyatt Hotels Corporation. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Hyatt Hotels Corporation from August 2008 to August 15, 2012 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer until August 15, 2012. He has almost 30 years of financial experience in the travel, financial services, restaurant and hospitality industries. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of International for Yum! Brands, Inc. responsible for finance, information technology and supply chain. He joined Global Hyatt with over 25 years of global financial expertise, including 14 years with Yum!, the world's largest restaurant company and parent entity of five global brands, including KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. During his tenure with Yum! and its predecessor company, he served a series of senior level finance positions with ascending levels of responsibility, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Pizza Hut - United States, Vice President of Finance for Yum! International. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Yum! International from December 2005 to July 2008. Prior to Yum! in 1994, he served in various financial capacities for American Express India. He served at Price Waterhouse in India. He has been an Independent Director of Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc. since October 6, 2016. He served as a Member of the Board of Managers at Avendra, LLC. He is a member of the CNBC Global CFO Council and Wall Street Journal CFO Network. Mr. Singh holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary.
