Joseph C. Beery

Biography

 Mr. Joseph C. Beery, Joe serves as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Life Technologies Corporation (Formerly, Invitrogen Corp.). Mr. Beery served as the Chief Information Officer of Invitrogen Corporation from September 2008 to November 2008. He served as the Head of Global Information Technology at Life Technologies Corporation, since September 8, 2008. Mr. Beery served as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of America West Holdings Corporation (US Airways Group, Inc. got merged with AWHC). He served as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of US Airways Group, Inc, where he was responsible for all IT business and operational systems and applications, process improvements, revenue generation and customer service programs. Mr. Beery served as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of America West Airlines Inc., a subsidiary, of US Airways Group, Inc. since December 2002. Mr. Beery joined America West Airlines Inc., in 1999, as a Senior Director of Business Technology Delivery. Since July 2000, Mr. Beery served as a Vice President of Business Technology Delivery. From 1989 to 1999, Mr. Beery held a variety of positions in the computer integrated manufacturing group of Motorola Semiconductor. Prior to America West, Mr. Beery worked at Motorola Semi-Conductor in Phoenix, Ariz. During his 10-year tenure, he held various positions in the computer integrated manufacturing group. Mr. Beery led the development and installation of a state-of-the-art manufacturing system in Motorola’s largest wafer manufacturing facility in 1994. He was responsible for Motorola's all factory computer operations in Phoenix and Austin, Texas. He served as a Manufacturing and Software Engineer at NV Philips in Albuquerque, N.M. He serves as a Director of HEROware, Inc. He serves as a Director of Arizona Technology Council. Mr. Beery holds a BS in Business Administration and Business Computer Systems from the University of New Mexico.
