Biography

Brad Waugh is the CEO of Life Wear Technologies, the producer of the CryoMAX product which is the leading cold therapy system, utilizing the patented “Points of Cold” technology which allows it to last eight hours after freezing. CryoMAX is manufactured in the USA and is available in over 30,000 retail stores. Waugh has over 30 years of experience in building and leading entrepreneurial ventures like Tunstall Inc., where he was President & CEO, prior to joining MTT. Tunstall was the largest tele healthcare company in the world, with sales of $400 million. Mr. Waugh was also the President and CEO of NaviNet, a leader in unified patient information management (UPIM). He successfully sold this organization in 2011. Prior to NaviNet, he was the U.S. President and CEO of Wincor-Nixdorf, a $2.6 billion firm that is focused on the ATM and POS marketplace. Prior to Wincor-Nixdorf, in 1998 Waugh successfully sold his first company, c.w. Costello & Associates, Inc. (a Y2K solutions firm) to Covansys (now CSC). In 2000, Waugh founded Watch Hill Partners, Inc., a company focused on CRM optimization and mobility of Fortune 1000 companies. Watch Hill Partners was sold to MasterCard International in May 2004, as part of a new consulting unit, MasterCard Advisors. Waugh was awarded the 2004 Technology Award for Entrepreneurship from the Entrepreneurship Forum of New England. He has also served on the boards of the RI Convention Center Authority, the Narragansett Bay Commission, ArcStream Solutions (sold to Keane), Antenna Software (sold to PEGA Systems), and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island. At Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Waugh served a short time as the acting CIO. Waugh is the founder and past President of the RI Technology Council and a past board member of Boston University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of Management.
