Gary Beach

Biography

 With 30+ years of experience in the A/E/C industry, Gary has had his hands in every element and every stage of virtually every kind of construction project. He’s learned the importance of—and science behind—maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors and operators. At Harris, he applies his gifts as a natural-born fixer and leader—resolving on-site construction and design issues and handling dispute resolution with grace.   As a preeminent construction manager working on water/wastewater treatment plants, water recycling facilities and underground distribution systems throughout California, Gary excels at managing risk while continuously reviewing constructability and tracking and controlling cost. He also applies experience gained on management projects for mines, chemical process plants, underground utilities, landfill closures, high voltage transformer buildings, electrical substations and electrical distribution.   After too many decades on the bitterly cold East Coast, Gary makes the most of Southern California’s idyllic weather. He fills his leisure time golfing, experimenting with photography and seeking out his next favorite meal in the San Diego food scene.
