Biography
Olga serves as the head of Clinical Research at LKC Technologies. She manages and runs the company’s clinical trials and provides scientific support and training to end-users and staff for best practices in the operation of electrophysiology (ERG) equipment. She also leads the scientific, marketing, and technical efforts in the development and sales of the RETevet device, LKC’s veterinary version of the RETeval device. Prior to joining LKC, Olga worked for 12 years at Alcon Research and Novartis as a Senior Scientist. She planned, implemented, and led a variety of studies related to electroretinography in Toxicology and Research departments. Her experience includes working with the majority of experimental animal species and multiple retinal eye diseases’ animal models. Olga is an ARVO (Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology) member since 1996, published researcher and teacher. She enjoys teaching theory of electroretinography, training personnel and students in ERG procedures, and quality data acquisition and analysis, as well as in reporting and presenting results. Olga holds a Ph.D. in Ophthalmology from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She speaks English, French, and Polish. In her private life, she enjoys reading as well as being involved in the Polish community and watching her four daughters grow into wonderful young women.
