David R. Anderson

Biography

Dave is a medicinal chemist with more than 15 years of experience in leadership of small molecule drug discovery projects targeting inflammatory diseases at Pharmacia and Pfizer. Dave led interdisciplinary teams at Pharmacia and Pfizer discovering first-in-class inhibitors for a number of kinase targets including Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase Protein Kinase 2 (MK2), tpl2, CSF-1R and ITK. Dave has more than 20 publications and patents. He received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Illinois before joining Pharmacia.
