Aileen Ryan

Biography

I joined the Ludwig Institute in October 2012 after working more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry in mid-size and small companies. My main focus and passion is regulatory affairs, interacting with agencies such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to get permission to study new therapies in patients, as well as obtaining marketing authorization. Oncology research is particularly interesting, giving me an opportunity to make a real difference for patients. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Masters Degree in basic medical science from New York Medical College.
