Biography
Linda M. Mundy, MD, PhD is Chief Medical Officer. She is responsible for Clinical Research and Development, Medical Affairs, and Pharmacovigilance, at Luitpold Pharmaceuticals and its divisions. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Mundy held a Director role at GlaxoSmithKline in Worldwide Epidemiology with work focused on global antibacterial drug discovery and development. Dr. Mundy earned a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors at Pace University and was inspired to go to medical school after refugee healthcare work in Southeast Asia work with the International Rescue Committee. She completed her medical degree, internal medicine residency, and infectious diseases fellowship training at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and subsequently joined the Department of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. She subsequently completed a doctoral degree, with a concentration in epidemiology, at the Saint Louis University School of Public Health. She has over 250 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and invited lectureships. She joined Luitpold in May 2015 and is committed to her leadership role in pharmaceutical drug development and population health.
