Brian E. Mcrae

Biography

 Actively involved as project manager and principal-in-charge on a variety of projects, Brian's expertise in erosion control and water quality are especially sought-out by municipalities dealing with sensitive environmental issues. Brian has worked in the Lake Tahoe Basin since 1995, and joined Lumos & Associates in 2003. His love of engineering and permitting challenges is what draws him into the more complex regulatory projects such as trail and water and sewer systems for public and private entities. “What I most appreciate about working at Lumos & Associates is the freedom and encouragement the company has given me to pursue the work I love in one of he most beautiful areas of the world, Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Working for Lumos has allowed my family and I to go outside our back door to enjoy our favorite activities—skiing, mountain biking, river running, and climbing. I am proud to say I have become a part of the economic and environmental health of the Lake and its surroundings, having completed a couple hundred projects ranging from small residential BMP retrofits to large resorts, bike trails, watershed restorations, and masterplans.
