Randall M. Long

Biography

 It's the broad spectrum of civil engineering that has allowed Lumos & Associates to expand in multiple directions, and for Lumos principals and associates to grow within their own specialties and interests. Randall Long's career has afforded him a diverse background from designing piles to hydraulic modeling of public water systems. "At the end of the day, I practice in the areas that I prefer while having a background that allows me to sell the company's services," he said. “One of my most rewarding projects during my career at Lumos has been representing the Gardnerville Ranchos GID as their District Engineer for over a decade." While few engineers have the opportunity to represent a community that provides roadway, water, sewer, parks, and open space services, Lumos is proud of the District's accomplishments under Randall's oversight. As an avid outdoorsman Randall fell in love with Nevada in 1988. Fly fishing, hunting and mountaineering are his favorite hobbies, but time permitting he'll never turn down biking, skiing, or water sports. Randall enjoys his role in the foundation of Lumos' collaborative company culture. He is proud to be part of the new ownership and leadership, and cherishes the mentoring from previous leaders within Lumos.
