Thomas W. Young

Biography

 Tom joined Lumos, as a University of Nevada student intern, in 1994, and today serves as an active principal and group manager. Tom's broad background has allowed him to work on many exciting projects over the years, but he quickly points to the award winning Eureka Fire House and Eureka Airport Reconstruction projects among his favorites. In addition, Tom oversaw the City of Reno's 10 million gallon per day sewer interceptor project adjacent to that very same university where he began his career nearly 20 years ago. Working with his clients and associates to define the best team and to complete the best possible project is why he enjoys leading Lumos' innovative and diversified organization. Tom enjoys his free time by volunteering with the youth in his community and spending time with family, coworkers and friends, and by hiking, bicycling, camping, and flying as well as just "puttering" on projects in the backyard with his wife and two daughters.
