Biography
Mr. Vincent Joseph Galifi, B.Com., C.A., has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Magna International Inc. since December 1997 and September 1996 respectively. During Mr. Galifi's 27-year career at Manga International, his responsibilities have included Director of Taxation & Insurance, Vice President & Controller, Vice President of Finance, Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. He held a variety of positions in the taxation and finance department of Magna from 1989 to 1997 and an Associate at the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand from 1982 to 1989. He has been an Independent Director at CCL Industries Inc. since December 19, 2016. He serves as a Director at 447 Holdings Inc. He has been a Director at Intier Automotive Inc. since February 23, 2004. He served as a Director at Decoma International Inc. since January 2004, Lithium Americas Corp., until February 25, 2010 and Tesma International Inc. since January 2004. Mr. Galifi has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with high distinction, from the University of Toronto. He obtained his CPA in 1984 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
