Biography
Mr. Burgess is a co-founder of Mainstream Technologies and has served as President since its inception in 1996. During this time, Mainstream Technologies has grown from three employees to a staff of 50, serving clients across the U.S. A software developer by trade, he was responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Supply Chain Management solutions which are currently used throughout the world by leading retailers to manage inventories and enhance reporting capabilities. He actively participates in civic and professional organizations; having served on the Board and as Chairman of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Directors of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce. He also currently serves on the Board of Advisers for the International Association of Cloud and Managed Services Providers (MSP Alliance). John believes passionately in the value of STEM education and STEM-related careers as a vehicle for economic development and societal improvement and actively supports various organizations which promote STEM, including Accelerate Arkansas , The Museum of Discovery , and Arkansas Advanced Initiative for Math and Science (http://ualr.edu/aaims/). Mr. Burgess holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
