Biography
Dr. Marie Bonavoglia graduated from the University of Scranton and the Scranton Medical Technology Consortium with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. She received the "Distinguished Clinical Medical Technology Student" award upon graduation. She then worked as a medical technologist at Moses Taylor Hospital for 14 years. After her time at Moses Taylor Hospital, Marie set up a physician's office laboratory and continued to run and manage the laboratory for the next 2 years. She then returned to school and received a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University. While at Marywood University, she earned the "Distinguished Graduate Student" award, top clinical student award and the Thomas J. Keenan Memorial Award.
