Matt Murphy

Biography

 Mr. Murphy has served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Material Sciences Corporation (MSC) since May 2013. Before this, Mr. Murphy held a number of positions with MSC, including Vice President, General Manager of Asia from December 2009 to May 2013, Vice President Global Transportation Sales & Marketing from March 2008 to December 2009, Plant Manager at the MSC Walbridge Coatings facility from May 2007 to March 2008, Director of Automotive Sales & Marketing from March 2005 to May 2007, Marketing Manager of Automotive Accounts from December 2002 to March 2005 and Strategic Account Manager from April 2001 to December 2002. Prior to joining MSC, Mr. Murphy held positions in manufacturing, sales and marketing with General Motors, AlliedSignal Inc. and GW Plastics, Inc. Mr. Murphy has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute and a Masters in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
