Biography
He has been instrumental in developing new markets and new services in the private and public sector and expanding Volkert geographically. Perry is a 1969 graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and holds an Honorary Doctorate from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Prior to joining Volkert, Perry served as Alabama’s Highway Director from 1991-1993, Alabama’s Secretary of State from 1989 to 1991, and was elected to two terms in the Alabama Senate.
