Biography
John McRitchie oversees McCarthy’s Commercial Services and Education Services Business Units in Southern California. This work includes office, airport/transportation, entertainment, water/wastewater, solar, industrial and correctional facilities, as well as K-12 education, community college and higher education throughout the region. John is focused on providing our clients and partners with skilled, collaborative teams who understand and address their needs. He brings extensive experience in technically complex projects, proven design phase and construction expertise, and commitment to an integrated approach to help deliver projects throughout the region. With nearly 25 years of experience in design integration and construction, he is a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). In addition, John is actively involved in the community, supporting local charities such as CHOC, Ronald McDonald House, and Taller San Jose, a non-profit providing construction career training to disadvantaged youth.
