Alan D. Wilson

Biography

 Mr. Alan D. Wilson has been Senior Advisor of McCormick & Company, Incorporated since January 31, 2017 and has been its Director since November 27, 2007. Mr. Wilson served as the Chief Executive Officer of McCormick & Company, Incorporated since 2008 to 2016, and previously served as its President from 2007 to 2015. He served as an Executive Chairman of McCormick & Company, Incorporated since March 25, 2009 until January 31, 2017 and he joined it in 1993 and has held many executive management roles in the past. Mr. Wilson has been an Independent Director of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. since September 10, 2015. He has significant executive management experience to the firm, having led a publicly traded, multinational company. Mr. Wilson also adds additional perspective to the Board regarding matters relating to general management, strategic leadership and financial matters. He serves as Director of the Grocery Manufacturers Association, the Greater Baltimore Committee and National Association of Manufacturers. Mr. Wilson has been an Independent Director of Westrock Company since July 1, 2015. He has been a Director of McCormick & Company, Incorporated since November 27, 2007. Mr. Wilson is the Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and serves on the University of Tennessee's Business School Advisory Board. He attended school on an R.O.T.C. scholarship and following college, served as a U.S. Army Captain, with tours in the United States, United Kingdom and Germany. Mr. Wilson earned an Honorary Doctorate degree in Science from the University of Maryland and a B.S. degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee in 1980.
