Biography
Eric is a senior partner at McKinsey & Company and the global leader of our Internet of Things work. He joined the firm in 1994. Now based in Montreal, he has also worked in the Toronto and Paris offices. Eric serves North American and global companies in the financial services, advanced industries, and resources sectors. His areas of expertise include large-scale digital/IoT transformations, risk management, business strategy, post-merger management, and productivity improvement programs. From 2011 to 2016, he was the Managing Partner of McKinsey & Company Canada. Prior to that, he launched and led McKinsey’s global Risk Management Practice. Research Interest
Digital transformation. Supported a leading international bank over a 3-year period in developing its digital road map, implementing several use cases to improve customer experience, and building its Digital Factory Structural cost transformation. Was seconded to a leading financial institution for 18 months to lead the design and delivery of a $1B large-scale productivity improvement program White-collar productivity. Designed and supported a $1.2B productivity improvement program at a global advanced industries client optimizing all white-collar functions: HR, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Engineering, and R&D. Eric is Vice-President of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation’s Board of Directors, a Director of The Conference Board of Canada, and a member of the McGill Engineering Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Québec Government’s Advisory Council on the Economy and Innovation.
