Biography
Homayoun is a senior partner in McKinsey’s Paris office, and leads our Marketing & Sales Practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He has a broad range of experience working with high tech, media, and telecommunications, industrial, and consumer companies in Europe, the United States, and Asia to help them drive above-market growth. Homayoun is the co-author of Sales Growth: Five Proven Strategies from the World’s Sales Leaders, which distills the insights from hundreds of McKinsey engagements and interviews with 120 successful global sales leaders into a set of stories and practical ideas that drive above-market growth. Tens of thousands of viewers have watched his interview series on “Sales Growth TV.†He is also the author of multiple articles on sales management, and as the convener of McKinsey’s “Growth Summit,†he regularly brings together Chairpersons and CEOs from the world’s most prominent companies to discuss their growth agenda. Homayoun has been a member of the MIT Corporation (the board of trustees of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology). He received his master of science in computer science from the École Centrale Paris, and his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he received the Seley Scholarship, Sloan’s highest merit award.
