Biography

Ryan collaborates with global aerospace & defense and advanced electronics manufacturing and services clients to inspire change and improve performance in their established businesses—and guide the formation of innovative new ventures. He helps executives adjust business models in order to strengthen competitive position, pursue strategic and growth objectives, and improve operational efficiency. As an advisor with over a decade of consulting experience, Ryan specializes in guiding strategic business transformations and putting new operations and integrated processes in place, in order to secure a solid foundation for sustainable financial performance. Examples of his work include: assisting a global aerospace and defense prime with development of new growth concepts and business models helping to build a new corporate growth and portfolio realignment strategy for a global services provider helping an advanced electronics OEM to conduct successful post-merger management and to craft a new business strategy conducting a number of due diligence efforts on behalf of private equity clients Before joining McKinsey, Ryan was a Partner at Booz & Company. He was also a space and missile operations officer in the United States Air Force, and he continues in this role today as a reservist.
