Biography
Dr. Liu started his career in the biotechnology industry in 1982 when he joined Cetus Corporation. He subsequently co-founded and served as president of General Biologicals Corporation a public immunodiagnostics company located in Taiwan where he was also a founding Board Member of the Development Center for Biotechnology. Dr. Liu later founded and served as President of Pepgen Corporation, which was focused on biotherapeutics for autoimmune and viral diseases. Dr. Liu received his B.S. from National Taiwan Normal University and his Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Liu completed his postdoctoral research at Yale University and at the University of California-Berkeley.
