Jens Quistgaard

Biography

Jens U. Quistgaard, Ph.D. serves as Chief Executive Officer of Medicis Technologies Corporation (a/k/a Liposonix Inc.). Dr. Quistgaard served as the Chief Product & Marketing Officer of Sonosite Inc., since October 2000 and served as Vice President of its Product Development from April 2000 to October 2000. He also served as Vice President of Product Development and Operations of Liposonix, Inc. from April 1998 to April 2000. From July 1995 to January 1997, Dr. Quistgaard served as Chief of the senior technology staff of ATL Ultrasound. He serves as a Director of WINGS. He served as Executive Director of ATL Ultrasound's handheld systems business group from February 1997 to April 1998. He joined ATL Ultrasound in 1990, as a senior engineer. Dr. Quistgaard holds a B.S. degree in mathematics and computational sciences from Stanford University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Washington.
