Valerie H. Sterns

Biography

 Valerie H. Sterns serves as MHA’s Associate Vice President of Affiliate Services and is tasked with strengthening MHA’s relationship with its 200+ affiliated community based organizations, providing strategic and technical assistance and working to develop and increase MHA’s presence in areas of the country not represented by an MHA affiliate. Sterns has over 20 years’ experience in non-profit management working with state and local affiliate organizations providing program and strategic assistance in all areas of association management for 501 (c)(6) and 501 (c)(3) organizations. Prior to joining MHA, Sterns served as Director of Membership & Affiliate Services and Director of Member Services for two national federations with local and state affiliated organizations.
