Biography
Rafael Ribas was born in 1951 in Oporto, Portugal. He has a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Oporto and a Master Degree at the Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Bruxelles, Belgium. He was a Fluid Dynamics teaching assistant at the University of Oporto, where he also developed Solar Energy field research projects. Rafael worked for the Portuguese Environmetal Department in pollutant dispersion and statistical analysis. Since 1981 he founded 3 companies on the HVAC branch where he designed and accompanied thousands of HVAC installations. He joined ACS in March 2014 as Chief Engineer
