Biography
Helene R. Leone was appointed Mesa’s General Counsel in January, 2014, having joined the Company in November, 2013 through the Amega Scientific acquisition. As General Counsel, Ms. Leone is responsible for supporting Mesa’s corporate and business-unit legal matters, serving as advisor on contractual, litigation, employment, regulatory, compliance, and other commercial and business related legal issues. Since her graduation from Rutgers University School of Law, Ms. Leone has practiced law in both the public and private sectors, garnering a wide range of tax, litigation, corporate, commercial and business law experience in her 30-year legal career. Prior to embarking on her career in law, Ms. Leone received her BA, with high honors, in Business/Accounting from Rutgers University School of Business, and went on to practice as an accountant, earning her license as a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Leone has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law, teaching at Rutgers University School of Law-Camden, and Drexel University Earl Mack School of Law.
