Biography
Tom Dyer has over 20 years experience as a practicing Mining Engineer performing essentially all tasks associated with an operating mine, more specifically the Cortez Gold Mine in Beowawe, Nevada and other Placer Dome properties. His various duties included updating reserve and resource models, pit optimization projects, pit design, short-term and long-term planning, cost tracking, supervising surface and underground mine personnel and participating in the Mine’s Feasibility Study. Tom also has nearly 15 years experience working as a miner in a variety of underground and surface operations, operating a range of equipment in gold, limestone and coal mines. Mr. Dyer is Mine Development’s Senior Engineer and is a Qualified Person as defined by Canadian NI43-101 regulations. He has been with Mine Development since July 2007. Mr. Dyer is a Registered Professional Engineer of Nevada and a Registered Member Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration.
