Research Interest
"Organic coatings, formulated from custom-synthesized polymers, are applied to metal or plastic substrates. Interfacial chemistry is then probed using spectroscopic and wetting analyses. Structure-property relationships of the adhesive interface are defined using microscopic, tensile adhesion, and corrosion analyses. Our goals are to characterize adhesion and corrosion phenomena on metals and adhesion to plastics. "
