Rima Gupta

Biography

 Rima co-founded MODEPHARMA in 2007 and is the company’s Pharmacist and Responsible Person. She has over 15 years of operational and management experience covering a range of organisations in the UK and North America. As a result, she has a deep understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Over the years, Rima has developed in-depth expertise in manufacturing investigational medicinal products, quality assurance, clinical trials management, pharmacy operations (including specials manufacturing) and quality control. Prior to MODEPHARMA, Rima held senior positions in Quintiles (a prominent global contract research organisation), Martindale Pharmaceuticals and the National Health Service (NHS). Here, she worked in the heavily regulated industry of specials manufacturing and clinical trials. She has also been responsible in setting up a trial unit and procedures, and tackling regulatory and governance issues. Rima has a B.Sc.Pharm and graduated with honours from the University of Alberta, Canada and is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain.
