Biography
"Dr. Omar Shehryar joined Montana State University in June 2005. Omar received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in 2003. He has previously taught at Louisiana State University and the University of Missouri. Omar's teaching interests include principles of marketing, marketing management, and marketing research. In his research, Omar focuses on the application and extension of terror management theory in the domain of consumer behavior. Additionally, he is also interested in researching issues in behavioral pricing. His most recent research involving terror management theory appeared in the journal Social and Personality Psychology Compass in 2011. His research has also been published in the Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Product and Brand Management, and Advances in Consumer Research. "
